Funded by Sport Manitoba, the Manitoba Paddling Asociation is a Provincial Sport Governing Body for competitive canoe, kayak and dragon boat in Manitoba. Our clubs offer year-round programs for youth and adults to maintain fitness and have fun on and off the water.

MPA is proud to partner with Never Alone Cancer Foundation at the September 8th Dragon Boat Challenge taking place at The Manitoba Canoe & Kayak Centre!

The festival is a FUNdraiser for the Never Alone Cancer Foundation, a Winnipeg based not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing emotional, financial, and informational support to patients, families and caregivers affected by cancer. Many people do not realize the financial hardships that accompany a cancer diagnosis. No one should ever have to make the decision between groceries or the cost of gas and parking to get to their treatments. All funds raised stay in Manitoba to help cancer patients and their families.
