Unsure which program to choose?
Here is an option that is just too good to pass up. Start with the Intro to Dragon Boating program. We are so sure you will like it that when you want to switch to the Dragon Boat League, we will apply your Intro fee paid towards your League fee (and prorate the cost if necessary). Win/Win!
Competitive Dragon Boat Team
Are you interested in racing dragon boats on a world scale? If yes then this is the program for you. For almost 10 years this team has traveled the world competing with the maple leaf on their jerseys. The competitive team practices Monday and Thursday at 7pm and Saturday and Sunday at 9am. If you have any interest in dragon boating at a competitive level come down and check it out.
Drop-Ins typically start after Canada Day and end after the September long weekend and run from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm Thursday and Friday nights. For $5 a person or $10 a family this is a great way to experience the Manitoba Canoe Kayak Center and the Red River for the first time!
Those who have not done our Intro to Kayak lessons will be limited to our sit on kayaks and rec canoes.
All programs are subject to cancellation due to unsafe water conditions. If you are unsure about weather/water conditions, please call our club to ensure we are allowing paddlers on the water.
